So we marinated these "wangs" for about 36 hours and then threw them on the grill for nice Sunday afternoon BBQ...
The "wangs" went so quick we couldn't capture people's reactions as they ate them. That's a great reaction, if you ask me.
Lucky for me, I was able to grab a few without getting my hand bitten. What was great about the chicken was that it was tender and pulled right off of the bone. The skin had a crispness from the cooking on the grill. And the meat had great flavor. It was sweet and savory from the mixture of the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients. I'm fairly certain there was some sugar in there because it gave the chicken this caramelized glaze on the outside.
Kalina tells me that every time she makes her "wangs" she has to make huge batches and they go just as quick as they did on Sunday. Now I know why......

Kalina's Chicken WANGs
In preparation for a BBQ, here's a sneak peak at one of tomorrow's menu items...
A secret recipe is tough to obtain from some people. Lucky for us, we were able to catch Kalina halfway through the making of her famous marinade.
Tomorrow, we'll throw it on the grill and find out how it tastes...
Stay tuned...
